About the job
The financial planner will work with the senior financial planners as they assist with our processes and on
planning, investments, and the profession. You will prepare plans for clients, attend client meetings,
prepare tax returns, attend investment committee meetings, financial planning committee meetings and
perform research. You will also handle investment trades, portfolio rebalancing, and will often be in touch
with clients on service issues. As your expertise in creating financial plans increases, you’ll lead client
meetings and build relationships.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively approach all duties and responsibilities with attention to detail and purpose
• Regularly monitor clients’ financial situations with attention to detail and accuracy
• Involvement in all aspects of pre-client meeting activities such as preparation of meeting
agendas, client paperwork, asset allocations as well as post-client meeting tasks such as
developing meeting notes, performing financial situation analyses, and coordinating planning
implementation with outside professionals if necessary
• Prepare financial plans and retirement projections
• Assist with trading and rebalancing of client investment accounts
• Maintain client records in CRM and document management software
• Interact with clients over the phone and in-person professionally and respectfully
• Facilitate efficient office operations including leading and assisting with process and system
improvement projects
• Manage 529 accounts
• Manage up to 50 client relationships
• Participate in the idea generation, research and writing of articles
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
• General supervision is received by chief operations officer. Close collaboration is expected with
all other members of staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited CFP Board registered financial planning program or other
finance related B.A. or B.S degree and completion of CFP certificate program
• Pass CFP certification examination within first two years of employment
• Show curiosity and confidence when dealing with clients and lead advisors
• Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Specific experience working with Junxure Cloud, Right Capital, Tax Clarity, UltraTax, Steele
Systems, Morningstar, and Raymond James and Schwab systems is helpful, but not required.
