About the job
Assist in developing financial plans and analysis for clients
Analyze client information and responses to understand goals, objectives, and risk tolerance
Analyze current investments
Work with financial planners to finalize recommendations
Manage software templates to ensure materials are current and relevant
Assist in basic office duties such as answering phones, greeting guests, and managing systems
Represent the department in various inter-office meetings
Research financial topics
Keep Financial Planners informed of progress and obstacles
Requirements
Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Ability to learn various systems and software packages (Access, Adobe, eMoney, Morningstar,Addvantage, and other computer programs, as requested)
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Team player
Continual learner with a desire to become a CFP®
Ability to think clearly and rationally and understand the logical connection between ideas
The ability to sort through a large amount of data and prioritize
The ability and desire to grow into a consultant role within 2-4 years
