There is no question that the popularity of Logan Paul spreads across the globe. So on June 6th, it made sense for one of the best fighters of all time, Floyd Mayweather, to share the ring with Paul in an exhibition match. Mayweather did what he does best, generate revenue.
The numbers are officially in, PPV buys touched around 1 million. With each PPV at $50, the fight generated a guaranteed $50 Million. Floyd is expected to take around $20-$25 million of that, and Logan is taking home $5-$10 million. These numbers actually fell short of expectations and predictions. Due to the fact many viewers have admitted of finding illegal free streams of the fight.
I don't think anybody will argue that $50 million wasn't worth it, especially when the fight was an overall time of 24 minutes. Even though there was no declared real winner from the fight, I think it's safe to say that both these fighters, Paul and Mayweather, took home the victory.
